Everest Poker – The Site With So Much To Offer But No Drive?

Finding the right online poker room to play your games at is not an easy task, there are simply so many online poker sites that are fighting for your attention that it can be easy to be blinded by the offers of free money and big money bonuses, closing your vision to what the site truly has to offer you as a new player.

I have always been someone that has been more about what games a site has to offer me rather than the offer of bonus funds as I have been through the transition period of being all about the free poker funds to being more sighted about the real issues that need to be covered when choosing a site.

Many players seem to forget that poker bonus offers tend to have requirements that need to be reached in order to unlock any of the free money that the site is offering, so other elements such as the game selection and stake levels come into action sooner than the free money offers but human instinct seems to lead us all to seek money first, game choice later.

Thinking back to the time when I first started playing poker online, I had never really played in the live poker room atmosphere and so entered into the market with a novice willingness to follow the words and advice of poker room review sites, after all I thought that all the sites were my guide to success.

After failing to like the first three or four sites that I joined for different reasons, I soon found a site that was promoting the Everest Poker download, a site that I had heard about from a number of sites and one that did look of interest after finding out that they were new player friendly thanks to their home on the iPoker network.

Deciding that once again the site I was on just didn’t give me what I wanted, I clicked the poker download button and joined up to their site to find that it could well have been one of the best decisions that I had made since deciding that I wanted to play online poker.

The site was user friendly, the players that were awaiting my participation at the tables were of lower ability than those that were sitting at the PokerStars tables and the jackpot offers were enough to keep me interested in trying to win six small sit and go tournaments in a row, a nice little addition.

A couple of years on I have outgrown the iPoker network and have since returned to PokerStars and a couple of other online poker rooms to play my games but I have to admit that I am shocked at the lack of industry push that Everest Poker have tried to make.

They seem to be a quiet poker room that live off recommendations rather than trying to lock horns with the bigger sites through the organic search of the search engines and for me that means that the site will be overlooked by new players that are looking for a smooth start to their online play, shame.

Gambling Trends Continue To Rise But For How Long?

The government in the United States may have thought that their move to outlaw online gambling for US based citizens back in 2006 following the passing of the UIGEA would have stopped online gambling within their borders but it seems that the US players are continuing to fight their corner by gambling within states that are yet to follow suit of the minority of states that have passed the legal bill.

Although the US market may well have been enclosed through the legislation that has prevented a number of online gambling operators opening their betting games to the US market, the interest in the online betting games that the sites promote seem to have continued to increase in popularity, thanks to the new European market that seems to grow strong with each passing month.

Looking into the search volumes for alternative versions of online casino and online poker rooms, we can clearly see that terms such as ‘casino en ligne’ have seen a rise in activity thanks to the continuing promotion of casino games through media methods such as the increase of live casinos that have made their way onto your television late at night.

Early thoughts following the news of the passing of the UIGEA regulations was that the online gambling market would see a huge downturn in interest thanks to the loss of US players that were now seeing theit accounts being frozen, money being held while investigations were undertaken and online gambling operators refusing to allow them to join their sites through fear of prosecution but emerging markets have now helped to outweigh the loss of gamers that the casino operators have actually lost through the acceptance of the legal bill.

Iceland, France, Denmark and many other countries have seen their participation levels increase since 2006 and now the EU market has become one of the biggest earners for the online gambling brands that are offering games for players to partake in.

The market continues to grow but surely there has to be a point where the market simply has no where else to penetrate and it will come crashing downwards?

Choosing The Best Poker Bonus

With over hundreds of online porker sites, it can be challenging to choose one that is good in terms of bonus codes and points. When playing nay poker game, poker deposit bonuses, reload bonuses and loyalty bonuses can really give you a major bankroll lift.

Some porker sites give huge sign up bonuses but that is usually the end up it. They do this in order to lure you into signing up but thereafter, there are very limited bonuses that they will offer you as a player. On the other hand other websites give low sign up bonuses after which they give regular loyalty bonuses.

For you to get a good deal in poker, you have to be well informed on the tricks that websites use. Some websites use lock poker bonus codes that guarantee all their loyal customers get limitless bonuses during games. You can receive a bonus of 150% to $750 just by using lock poker bonus codes. There is time that is usually given to players to use up all their lock poker bonus codes which mostly ranges from 60 to 90 days depending on different sites.

You can go through different review sites that will give you a heads up on the top poker sites that you can use to get good bonuses. There are also poker sites that give bonuses to players who introduce new players to their site. A fair poker site should be able to reward a player every time they make new deposits into the game.

The best thing to consider when choosing a poker site is whether the site suits your style of playing poker. There are different styles one can use to play soccer depending on how much risk you like taking. Conservative people will go for frequent player points while on the other hand, aggressive players choose to go for more pots.

Before signing up in any poker site, ensure that you thoroughly go through the full terms for bonuses. This will enable you to spot any tricks that a site has used to rip players off in terms of bonuses. Do not immediately run for attractive sign up bonuses because you might end being disappointed at the end. Look for sites that are flexible when it comes to players clearing off their bonuses. Some sites are flexible to the extent that they allow players to clear their bonuses one at a time.

Are Smaller Poker Sites A Bad Option?

When you are looking to find a new online poker room it can be hard to know whether the sites that you know about are really the best for you, I mean if you look at the biggest online poker room in the world, PokerStars, they have over 20 million players registered but they are well known for having a high ability level of players within their members base, meaning that you are running the risk of running into one or more of those during your sessions at their site.

Such as the nature of humanity, many new online poker players simply head for the most recognised online poker rooms without even thinking about whether the site is going to be the right place for them, instead ignoring the smaller poker rooms in order to play safe and join a reputable one which comes with a higher chance of going bust on their first time out at the virtual poker tables.

Well if you are one of those players, you really need to hear that the online poker industry is seeing a huge shift in where new players just like you are heading to play their online games, with smaller sites like Merge Gaming Network’s Lock Poker being one of the biggest risers within UK online poker popularity.

So what is causing the shift in destination for those players that are turning their back on the bigger sites? Quite simply it is the new competition that the smaller sites like Lock Poker have engaged into with new and better than ever before poker bonus offers, the Lock Poker Bonus Code 2012 being worth a 150% first deposit match bonus up to $750, much bigger than the offer that many of the leading poker rooms online are offering at the moment.

Although you may think that bigger is better, that is the wrong conclusion when you compare PokerStars to Lock Poker because the Merge Gaming hosted site have made huge steps towards increasing the player experience within their site, creating a bonus that is not only generous on the reward but also easier to clear than the PokerStars Marketing Code first deposit match bonus.

So if you are thinking of looking for a new UK poker site, then you need to be looking at the Lock Poker Reviews in order to see whether the site that have emerged as a real contender for new potential players, has to offer you!
